XOR (2019-2020)
The XOR series is a visualisation of the “XOR problem” in machine learning. It is an experiment with how to visualise the process of distinguishing different types of data in a given space utilising multi-layered neural networks. The solution appeals to higher dimensions in order to solve the problem, resulting in the 2D image reconfiguring to have the appearance of a 3D image, where the darker elements add a sense of depth to the 2D canvas.
