Strength (2013)

Strength was created as part of a multimedia performance consisting of music, video and choreographed dancers. My contribution to this was to create this video segment which would accompany the music and dancers, exploring the themes of technology and connectivity. This video balances the contrasting views of technology being strict and impenetrable, with a harmony that can be brought about through connecting to one another. Certain sections of this video would have been the focus of the audiences attention, while other parts would have been the background for dancers, so it was important to consider the various dimensions of the performance in order to harmonise with it, which coincidentally was the subject of the performance itself.
